Hi,
new to these forums...
I'm having problems with my dvd burner - it's an LG GSA-2164D. I've dl'd the latest drivers off LG and installed. I'm burning with Nero Express, using Sony DVD+r D21 discs(verified with "DVD identifier").
Roughly 50% of every burn I try fails - it gives a write error at about 3% of the burn proccess in Nero. It seems to be pretty random. I use a new disc every time, don't try and repeat once it's failed. It doesn't seem to matter whether I try to burn as a film dvd (for dvd player) or data.
Does anyone know anything that could improve my failer rate? According to this article - http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm these sony discs are pretty good.
Thanks
Harry
