Default DVD burner

Hi, I'm planning to buy a dvd burner and im just searching around for a good, long lasting dvd burner, not one that stuffs up after 1 yr.

I had in mind:
LITEON SOHW-1653S 16X+/-R DVD-DUAL Layer
or
Pioneer 16XDualLayer DVR-108SWBeige

which 1 would you guys recommend i buy?

Thanks.

I have the pioneer and so far I'm satisfied with it, pioneer is a good brand. May I also suggest the NEC ND-3500A....it was kicking ass in all the tests....check it out.

Get a DVD RL... That is a DVD RAM DRive. It allows you to save on the fly, just like a floppy drive to DVDRAM disks. Much better then a normal RW, and it includes DVD+-RW CD+-RW capabilities.

Might I make another suggestion other than the two you have in mind?

Try the LG Electronics DVD+/-RW 16X Mulitformat Drive:

Very reliable and very fast. Comes with good software too.
