I have had a dv camera and firewire capture card for a long time now, but I haven't used it in about 6 months. Anyway I tried using again and I got no response from it what so ever, I am using a cheap firewire capture card which came with some pinnacle software. I wouldn't think it would be anything to do with the drivers as it has worked on this system before without me needing to think about drivers. when I hit capture video in windows movie maker or premier it says no device is detected and then right after that error it says "USB error" as the heading and the message its self says "DIO Error Code = 00000079". I thought it was a bit odd that it said USB error when I'm trying to capture with a firewire card. Any help would be great thanks!
