I know it probably doesn't effect gaming, but it did make my pc a fair bit quicker...is to enable the L2 Cache, because by default, Windows don't have it enabled....there are a couple of other memory tweaks on the following page too which improved my pc's performance, including games, i know the topic says Vista but a lot work all the same....

thanks looking at it now but ive got to the part where i need to input my L2 cache but how do i know what mine is? sorry if this is a noob question

You said your cache when you answered your Specs post.....

Therfore, your cache is 2Mb....which is 2048kb, so in the box type 2048.
