Default Dual Monitors

I have two monitors each runing at 1280x1024, it runs as an extended desktop. Is it possible to make the computer recognise them as one large screen (so it would be 2560x2048), this way I would be able to play games on dual screens too. Thanks.

Your video card should allow you to do that. Just check the video card's control panel.
