isnt that what DVD-R DL or DVD+R DL means?
would it have any issues reading said DVD?
thanks for the help guys

Not as long as you have the nessasary drivers and software and it installed and configured correctly. Usually, the operating system takes care of the drivers. You still need 'burning software' if you want to burn discs.

What difficulties are you having with your drive? Can't read a burned DVD?

no problems
just havent tried it
and dont like to spend money on things that wont work for me
im checking how deep it is before i jump in :D
thanks guys

The drive you posted a link to has been deactivated. Being Asus, I would consider it good quality. I favor Pioneer and Plextor optical drives, I've worn out one of each and they alway impressed me with durability.
