Default dual layer dvd burner?

Hi all I have a bit of confusion. I have a gateway mt6728 laptop. I can't figure out if it will burn dual layer dvd's. The burner that is in it shows up as HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20F ATA DEVICE. I've done some searching and have got different answers. Heres the link to the specs page my my laptop. Gateway Support - 2528249R*8X Multiformat Dual Layer DVDRW w/DVD-RAM Assembly With Labelflash (CRU/EURP)
There are 3 selections. HLDS, sony, or toshiba.
Thank you for any help
