Dual E5405 Help

Im deciding on building a mATX server with 2 E5405 processors. My first question is how is gaming effected by an 8 core setup? Also, are server motherboards ok with overclocking (say 2-2.6Ghz)?

Server mobos do not take kindly to overclocking from what I see, but it should be fine without. I have only owned 2 servers tho, and with AMD mbs
