Default Dual Core Socket 939 Operton?

Guys, guys.... Socket 939 Dual Core Opteron! Does that mean I could use it in a 939 motherboard like this one?

My friend and I want to purchase a server for our games, but 940 uses that damned registered ram (which costs a fortune). I orginally wanted to go with Dual Operton (2 Processors).

My other question is, is this a total of 4MB's of cache? It says 2, but since it is Dual Core.... ?

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I don't know either.

If someone would... actually respond... maybe we could get somewhere... ?

yes, the dual core opterons are really nice. They can be used for gaming, it would waste them to put them in a server. They can OC to 3Ghz on air. I wouldnt use them for a server. Instead i would put them in a gaming rig.
