I've got a Pentium D, it runs very good. I will be buying Half Life 2 soon, and ill tell you how Counterstrike runs.(ive also got a gigabit 6600gt.)

Looking over it, get this one
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Dual Core Processor - Retail

because, slighly slower, although really, with that nice of a processor, you only see number differences, you wont see a performance difference. And its cheaper.
