Default Dsub/vga vs dvi ? Significant improvement for the cost???

I will soon be building a top-notch pentium-D system for video editing and i will be buying 2 lcd monitors. thus far i dont know what i will get.

I want to know, apart from being future proof is dvi significantly better than dsub/vga? dvi seems to be on larger monitors mainly but i will be happy with a couple of 17"s.

Yeah, dvi is the way to go. Make sure you get a graphic card that will support them, though, and that your two monitors have dvi ports... lol.
Macbook Pro and Logitech z5500s. All you really need.
