Default drwtsn32.exe?? and firefox problem

I went to extract a .zip file then my computer got messed up with explorer not responding...
I then went into task manager and tried quiting explorer in there cause it wouldnt do it by itself and I noticed a drwtsn32.exe running under me, the user... I did a google and it says it is microsoft, but then shouldnt it run under system? It starts up when windows starts up... and not when there is an error

Onto the firefox problem. Firefox has been crashing alot lately, and I read somewhere that firefox may get a memory error or something?
Right now it is using 50,000kb of memory... When I first installed it it used like 20,000...
