If you want it on DVD, you will have to convert it into MPEG-2 which is the DVD format codec that dvd players recognise. Dvd maker programs can do this, or some special convertors, which tend not to be free, and the trials only let you do about 5 mins each video. Nero will also do this if you have version 6, which should come with new DVD burners.
If its copying it to Video CD (to play movies on compressed cd discs) you want, which will run on some DVD players, you'll need to convert it to Video CD format, which if you have Nero will do that for you, if you select the Super Video Cd option, or Video CD option, and just place a blank recorable cd into the burner.
All this will take a while though, and Nero comes with most DVD/CD burners nowadays.
Hope this helps
