I use DIVX player. Maybe not on the original topic, but does anyone know of a program that I can use to burn an AVI file. (Video not Data DVD). Nero has messed up my entire PC before so I'm not too confident about using it.

Are you trying to convert the AVI file to make it DVD playable if so you need WIN AVI or SUPER DVD CREATOR, Nero 7 (Nero vision) will do it but as you want another one try the other two. I use those. you may need to download some codecs for the player if you have sound but no picture.
