whenever I download a file, I can see it in the directory I'm saving to while it's downloading, but the second it's done, it literally disappears from the directory as if it deleted itself automatically. I do a search on the filename and it doesn't come up anywhere in the computer, as if it never existed, but then if I try to download it again to the same directory, I get the "file already exists" window.
likewise, when I create a new folder, as soon as I type in the name and press return, it disappears. but then if I try to make another one with the same name, it says "folder with that name already exists".
