Yeah thats true about the Firefox one, though I find the pause sometimes stops the download complety, as I think i've tried it once, and it stopped the download and gave me half a video file which was corrupted though still ran.

I'm sure it works with some hosts, and files though!

I use GetRight 5.2, I payed for this before all the so called free download managers became available. It has no spyware in it even when it's unregistered. You just have to put up with a spash screen, and several of the advanced features are turned off.

Hmm i have never had that kind of problem with firefox maybe your verison was not up to date?

When I was using dl managers then site you dl'ed from had to allow interupted dl's. If it didn't you were sol.
