Downlioaded music

alright my friend downloaded music off of Wal-Mart.com - straight to his computer. He found he can only listen to the music on the computer he downloaded it onto. He cant put it on a cd, if he puts it on his jumpdrive and tries to playit on another computer it wont work.. any Idea whats wrong?

It's just coded so that it can't be shared, alot of places that you can legally download from, do that, it's call a distribution limit. My mate you round it once, I think he opened it in Audacity, saved it as an autacity file, opened that, and changed it to a .mp3.

Failing that, he could record straight from his sound card, and then just convert it to an mp3, hundreds of ways around it, 95 of those are p2p programs lol
