I know the Sony has has better tech specs for gaming but the only gaming I'll probably be doing is Stacraft 2. I'm more for build quality over design (This thing has to last at least till I graduate in 3 years) and I do a lot of movie watching.

Sony all the way, and that 4650 is probably going to the be recomended sized card for SC2, if SC2 ever see's the light of day...

Just get the Sony, its 10 bucks more, with better specs, i dont see the problem...

plus its got a bigger better screen for sure.

Yeah looks like the Sony wins everywhere that's important
I would go with the Sony as well

Sounds good. I was trying to take other things into consideration since the main purpose would be a multimedia laptops such as the quality of the screen (CCFL vs LED, brightness), sound and etc.
