Default Does Anyone Know How .....

high i can get my processor to overclock ...

after i get my system running and functional, i intend to oc it.

I'm not sure what you want to know, but if you want to know how to overclock your processor look no further. This thread was made a sticky in the general hardware and software a long time ago.


Rig -- Emachines T5026, 3.06ghz P4, 300W Bestec PSU, 160 sata hd, 512mb dual channel 3200 ram @ 3-3-5-8, ATI Radeon 9250 pci, dual layer 16x dvd+/-rw.

You can never really tell how far a processor is going to overclock. My old 3700+ would max out at 2.8ghz, I have seen other ones go to 3.2ghz. It just depends on the steppping of your processor. You should be able to do atleast 2.6ghz. Butthe only way you will be able to know for sure is to actually go and do it.
