Does this review prove that AMD is better in general than any Intel chip?

Yes. For example the Intel D 830, AMD X2's..etc.

For example, Dual 3.4 ghz xeon processors would be beaten by any AMd any time?

I don't think you're grasping what dual core means. It means two processors on one die. One chip not two seperate cpu chips.
And the results of any head to head testing can be skewed by the operating systems and the apps that are being run for testing. Also there does appear to be major bias from testers as to which cpu chip comes out on top. And that comes from either camp.
