Default Do you know your wheat from your chaf?

I want to invest in a ext. hard drive. My local shop are selling Packard Bell ones for £69.97 for 250gb. Are these any good or are there better makes on the market?

I also know big named brands dont necessarily mean better products. ie Honda are better than BMW in terms of running costs.
