Default display problems.

my friend got a new computer, custom, he built it himself, upon first turning it on, there is no display on the monitor, he's using a 7600GT, his motherboard is definitely working cuz he sent it back to ASUS just last week to have it checked. He thinks that the 7600GT is working fine, but I haven't had time to go over and check it out yet, could there be anything else that is making his computer act like this? All parts are brand new, and it's never been used so it can't be viruses or anything.

Have you seen the monitor working before? What wattage is the PSU?

Can you give full system specs please. May be a case of needing a new PSU.

Does the video card have the 4 pin power plugged in?

I would suggest a new PSU, at least 500Watts.
