Just wondering, but it doesn't really matter too much what disk drives you have does it? It only really depends on whether you wish to burn or rip stuff to a disk or a computer right?

well you should have one of some sorts obviously even if its just to use with a recovery disk - but what kind of drive you do have depends entirely on what you need.
