Default Disk cleanup

Is it okay to disk cleanup hard drive frequently (like 2 times each day) for vista or is it damaging to the hard drive?

Its fine to run a disk clean up I don't think you need to do it twice a day, Defrag once a week or month, if you want to get rid of temporary INTERNET files and cookies then run Ccleaner everyday before shut down.http://www.ccleaner.com/

As far as internet files go, you should download Firefox. With it, there's an option you can activate that will allow you to clear your private data (cookies, history, temp. files, etc.) every time you close Firefox. I highly recommend this as I noticed increased speed within my browser switching from IE to FF.
