How do I permanently disable processes? When i restart my computer, some programs like ituneshelper, Applemobiledevice and other apple programs always load up. So I have to manually disable them.

go under startup tab though, not the boot tab to disable all your startup programs you dont want to start when the computer starts up.

thanks, just did it, its hard to tell which programs to disable and which ones are required. I just disabled stuff associated with apple, quicktime, adobe.

Just don't mess around with the services in MSConfig. If you want to tweak services, use services.msc or go to control panel>administrative tools>services

MSConfig has a disable all option on the services tab, which is really stupid.
