I've been cleaning my computer recently and managed to accumulate a large heap of files for deletion. But before I do that I want to create a list of the files I deleted for archival purposes. It would be impossible to do this manually however since there are (literally) millions of files, so I tried out some directory list generation programs.
So far the best one is Directory Lister Pro, it can export the list as a HTML file with tables and stuff (unlike most which can only generate txt files) but the list is very linear (one straight column, no directory levels) and with millions of files it would be fairly useless when you want to go through the list.
So my question is - are there any programs that can generate a file (html maybe?) that has a file manager like structure? (ie expandable/collapsible file tree) It would really make everything easier, and you would assume something like this exists already
This is a generated list for a test directory.
This is what I was hoping would be possible, minus the rainbow colours
. Think file manager.
