ah, well on Newegg the superclocked EVGA GT is roughly $10 less than a GTS. I thought it was the same between some BFG's too.

I think I would be the Most on a budget here, my point it in the long run those 50$ will go MUCH further, and its 150$ card I think He can save for like a little while and get enough.

I wouldnt go with a Gigabyte graphics card, from experience and experience of friends they don't do so well with heat...

my card is a 7300 fanless, and it runs at about 50C. I would go for a fan for anything above the 7600 series.

Well, it wouldnt be on the market if it didnt work I think. I think its an ok idea, and my friend just got this card and it works fine on BF2142, supreme comander, and age of empires 3 all on high, so I think it should be ok.

Yeah, as long as you're not going to overclock and your current case temperatures aren't too high already, it should be fine.
