Default Digital Clock prog?

Hey,

I am after a desktop digital clock similar to the following widget....

http://widgets.yahoo.com/gallery/view.php?widget=38233

I really like the GUI of that clock (i don't need the alarm, but the chime on the hour is good)...but hate using Yahoo! Widgets as its a resiource hog, anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Matt

Well, pretty much all of the widget programs for XP are resource hogs. I used to use them, but they weren't worth the trouble. The most popular are:
Konfabulator (Yahoo)
Samurize
DesktopX
AveDesk

I'd recommend AveDesk, it doesn't use quite as much resources, and it's relatively simple to use.

Two okay clocks:

Opera (the browser), comes with widgets. If you ever decide to use Opera you should look into that.

Yeah i have seen them, only problem is you have to have Opera running at all times for the widgets to work, which is a bit annoying....

Here's something I used in the past. It's not a widget but a stand alone program.
This is a time limited demo.
