Default Different types of RAM

My MOBO says the standard ram for it is 400 (3200pc) does that mean you have to take that ram or is that the lowest you can have, for examplecan i put in ddr 600 and (pc 4800) to make it go faster?

That means that it supports 400 (pc3200) ram. It could work with slower rams, but not with the faster ones.

When it comes to ram it is highly recommended that you only use that which is specified by the manufacturer of the mobo.
