Default Difference between Fat and Fat32

i was going to re format my 2gb usb flash drive and it gave me the option to choose either fat or fat32? which one should i use? and also, wht the h*** does FAT mean?...

File Allocation Table (FAT) is a computer file system. Essentially, it controls how information is stored and accessed in your hard-drive. The most efficient one is NTFS. Since you only have those two choices, use FAT32.
