Difference betrween two settings

Is 16.7 Million colors over 16.2 really a big differencE? Because I'm looking at the Acer AL2017 20" lcd with 1400x1050 using a 7600 GT and am curious if the color is fine for gaming and such.

I'm just playing, couldn't resist- if you're really into gaming, and notice every little detail, then I could see it makes a difference. Someone like me, that doesn't game, wouldn't be able to tell. Gamers are really detailed people....
