Did something in my computer die?

Update, so I was able to turn on my computer successfully and it's back to what I suppose to be is normal... what I did were resetting the CMOS couple of times, unplug the sata cables from the hard drive and DVD reader, put it in the Windows 7 OS, did like a repair thing, and it restarted and is back to normal. Overall, I don't really know what actually go wrong though.

Now that it is running, do a memory test from a boot disk.

It sounds like some sort of intermittant hardware fault. Dodgy memory not posting? Too much of an overclock? I just wouldn't know from the info given. But I'd try and get to the bottom of it.

Even see if there's an updated BIOS for it, BUT only update it if you're sure it's going to be stable enough for it!

Have you done any BIOS upgrades? Just saying...it might be that.
