I need to make sure all my hard drives work before i sell them. What is a REALLY good tool for testing all the sectors of the drive and making sure they function correctly?

Spinrite is THE BEST.

i was just reading about spinrite, Steve Gibson is like a GOD ahha. really great programs, so this program can also check all portions of the drive? not just recover data?

@OP, what brand of drives? most manufacturers provide free diagnostic tools on their websites.
