Default Deus Ex Question

I just found my old copy of Deus Ex (GREAT GAME) installed it but when ever I play it, it is like 1.5x faster than it should be. Everything is sped up a bit. WHY PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

If you recently tweaked your graphics card or done some tweaks with the OS, it will be abit faster than normal. In the task manager, is the game running above normal mode or high ?

Can you enable VSync? I had the same problem with GTA. Also, close any unnecessary background tasks.

And yeah, Deus EX is an awesome game.

no vsync at this time, and it is an older game and my laptop can run it, my laptop is only 1 yr old

No i have not tweaked the OS or Graphic card (that i know of)

How do I know if it is running in normal mode or high?

Right click on the process, under Set Priority I think is what he's talking about.
