Default Details about hardware.

Hey there, I have a good knoledge on pc's as I've progressed for years now, But I never have gone into much detail with the memory and graphics card and sound card, the only way I identify good graphics cards is by the ,MB of memory the card has on it can somone go into some detail and explain what other frequencys of hardware tells you what and how good they are, same withy memory I indentify a good stick of memory by its memory like ,1GB or 512mb, I know theres like more detail like bus speed or something like that and same with processsors I only measure good processors by look at the MHZ or GHZ on it , if you could explain to me that would be great.
