Desktop windows problem

I have a desktop that the windows doesn't open.
It load but when comes to open windows it turns off.
I went to put reboot it and put a fresh copy of windows,when it load the blue screen and comes where you have to press enter the begin to copy windows I press enter and the computer turns off.
I put another hard disk in it, and it did the same.
I also thought it has a problem with the cd, test it with another one and nothing.
I did connected the floppy, and other cards.
Only has the video card, cd and hard disk conected to the computer.
Cpu fan work fine also...
Can someone help me with this?

Does it Blue Screen or just restart?

Also, you need to post the specs of the computer so we can help you. We don't know what hardware you have.

It does not blue screen it just restart.
The desktop, is pentium 4 socket 478, 512mb ram, geforse video card.

I think there is something some with your MOBO ,check it out or exchange one
