Angry Desktop locking up

Whenever I first boot up, anything I click on the desktop locks up the whole computer, unless I connect to the internet. If I connect and disconnect, that works fine, too. Anybody got a clue on this one? Thanks

Must be some program you have running that is looking for the internet..

If you like PM me and I'll send you a startup manager. Disable everything on startup, then one by one enable till you find the program locking up the desktop.
