Thumbs up desktop backgrounds

Does anyone know any sites where you can get free desktop backgrounds from cos all the xp ones are boring now.

Make your own. Use a camera and snap a picture of what you think might be a cool shot and then upload it either by scanner or program then right click it and set it as desktop. Really pretty simple.

http://www.themexp.org/ - Not just wallpapers, but cool stuff like windows xp styles. What xp styles do, is they modify (in a way) your overall theme, so you can emulate (for example) OS panther skins.

Visualparadox has the hands down no bull coolest wallpapers I have come accross. You guys have seen some I've posted.

how do i get that cool toolbar??? It doesn't come with the themes or anything..does it?

there are loads seach in google .. remember you NEVER need to download there application to install wallpaper so don't do it.

You can go to http://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/ and download Objectdock. Then you can go to www.wincustomize.com to download different themes.

does themesxp.org mess up your computer becuase i was going to download it when i saw that it comes with 3rd party advertisments and stuff like that i dont want to have a million pop ups

Depends. Sometimes those are just sponsor ads, or ads that companies paid for.

I picked up a downloader trojan and new.net from there it really messed up my desktop. Now I'm stuck with xp classic theme. I would not download anything from there.
