I have a VPS that I want to upgrade. I want to jump into the world of colocating that server and I was wondering what you guys thought of the Dell Poweredge 2950.
I have the opportunity to pick one up for a good price, it has the following:
Dual Xeon E5430 2.66 Ghz Quad Core
16 GB PC2-5200F DDR2 ECC
PERC 6i Raid Controller
6 X 76 GB 15K SAS Driver
Dual Port Gigabit Ethernet Card
Is this still a desent server that is able to run a website that takes around 50,000 unique visits and 1.5 million pageviews a year?
