Default Dell Dimmension 4100 not getting to BIOS

It goes through the RAM check and then does nothing after that. I have also tried going to the BIOS before the RAM check and then it just sits there saying entering setup. Any ideas as to what is causing this? From what I know it worked fine before I picked it up from my friend.

Well, actually I just solved it. Found that the CD drive was causing it to hang...

appears that you've solved your own problem. That's always the best way.
