If you're trying to stay under $1,000, you should be able to build custom PCs much faster than what Dell has to offer. Are you still interested in building a PC from scratch or purchase a complete system from Dell? If you choose Dell, get thies and add more RAM later:

As far as your multiple posting goes, don't be surprised if a moderator say something about it. It's generally better to edit a post to add more suggestions. If it's new info in regards to updates on your system or whatever, it should be ok to double post it.
