Deleted or not? PROVE IT!

Lots of stuff on the Net about deleting drives which can then be recovered.
Lots more pay-for programs which will 'completely' wipe a drive.
I just deleted the partition from a hard drive (which is too small for my use and am going to sell) and then I formatted it. Surely that is enough.
The drive only contained music videos & mp3's so am not that bothered if someone can get them back but, I am really curious if it can be done. Tell me how - I want to see it for myself before buying one of these progs!

Don't worry about it. It is all gone to the average, and advanced user. The only people that can do that kinda stuff, is really the FBI. Other then that its pretty much impossbile. Unless your some leet hacker. But you don't need to worry someone doing it for music. Maybe if you had something top secret government information. Or like Area -51, or Roswell Info. Then beware. Other then that, don't bother.
