Decent for gaming?

Would this computer be decent for gaming? I know I'd probably have to update the graphics card, but other that that, would it?

thats more of a multi-media type computer. But itll be decent for gaming but I wouldn't use it for that imo

What kind of games are you looking to run?

The video card will need to be upgraded obviously.. but the CPU is decent and with 6GB of RAM, you should be okay.

As it sits, no it will not be good for gaming. The integrated NVIDIA GeForce G100 pretty much equivalent to an 8400 GS.

With a nice video card and power supply upgrade, it could be a decent gamer.

It'll play WOW just fine.. but it won't play like some intense FPS (Crysis).

If you play WoW on it and upgrade to something cheaper like nvidia 9500gt you can play WoW at 60 fps on high.

^ he said for WoW, and i play it on multiple rigs. It isn't very demanding. If he does upgrade the gpu it will be fine.

if he wants a decent gaming computer, focus less on the ram and even the cpu and try to find one that has a better gpu
