Ddr2?

DDR2 memory is out but I'm trying to wonder what it is compatible with.. will it be compatible with my motherboard? I just don't know.. it is 240 pin, compared to 184 pin of the regular DDR.

You gotta check the specs on your mobo to see if it accepts 400mhz or 533mhz ram. These are usually seperate slots from the slower older ram.

Yeah of course mine accepts 400MHz ram.... it is an NForce3 board afterall..

But wouldn't more pins make it incompatible with boards that were created before the ram was created?
