Dd2 - Ddr Mobo

Im purchasing a new mobo for my PC, that carries DDR memory in it now. My question is, if I get this DDR2 compatible MOBO then will I still be able to use my DDR RAM in it?

no.
ddr is 184pin and ddr2 is 240 pin. So it won't fit into the mobo.

yea it wont go, unless you buy a different board that supports both types, as in it has two slots for 240-pin(DDR2) and 1 or 2 for 184-pin(DDR)
