i just wanna know

y r there so many pop ups when my mozilla has a pop up blocker?

does the pop up blocker actually work?

Often built in pop up blockers don't work.. at least for me.. here is one I use:

Get AdBlock from here, excellent extension for Firefox...

Whoa momma!!!

If you have not turned off the xp built in messenger system then it's a good chance that's where they're comming from. Popup blockers won't stop them as they come into the machine as a part of the network setup. Be it internet or a LAN.

The Firefox pop-up blocker is pretty good but the pop-ups are getting smarter as well. Use the adblock extension, its great.

Lately i don't even need that.

Actually, If you upgrade to SP2 it turns off
the messenger service for you.
