Funny how they replaced the balls with 3D teapots considering teapots are a 3D primitive of 3DS Max, and yet, they didn't build anything with that program I don't think, haha
Also doesn't help that the textures are mostly all photographic, so everythings baked within the texture, including shadows, occulsion.
Everything else is pretty low poly. Its also not very hard for graphics cards to copy one object over and over anymore. They can do that without using extra memory.
Still, its pretty interesting.
