my 19" monitor for some reason has a purple spot on the screen, top right corner!
I have no idea why it's there, and I don't know what to do about it...
any advice?...

it may have some pixels gone wrong. i would suggest adjusting the colors on your monitor. if that doesnt work, have it looked at

Adjusted colours, it seems to fix it.. for like a min, then it comes back.
I guess i'll have to get it looked at.

No, it won't work...it will come back. I put a fan run by electromagnetics on and the same thing happened. I took it away and it worked

heres the deal, I do have speakers on my desktop, but they are both a good full foot away from it.
somebody put a clock on top of the monitor, but I took it off, not even 3 seconds after it was put there, man I was pissed.
but it wasn't messed up at all.
however... I just turned this monitor off for about half an hour, and now that I turned it back on, I dont see the purple, but I believe it will return as the monitor heats up...
and yes, I have Degauss, but it doesn't help.
