CRT Monitor

Is there a way to transfer files from a PC without a CRT monitor to a laptop? If I had the monitor, I could simply drag-and-drop it all onto a flash drive, but the monitor's dead. I'm looking around to find a 15-pin CRT monitor, but until I happen across one, I thought I'd see if there was a less labor-intensive (I have to carry it from the subway, and those things are heavy) work-around.

You would need the monitor to be able to use the system, unless you had a hard drive adapter to attach to the hard drive, then just copy files that way.

That's what I would do, just take out the hard drive, attach it to a USB adapter and attach that to another PC to extract the data.

Well some network cards, do support remote management. I don't know if your desktop has that kind of card and if it is configured already... sorry wish I could help more.

I have a projector but you don't live in New Jersey =P
