Default crossfire question

Hey there i have a XFX Radeon 5770 card can i hook that up with a 5870 card in crossfire? Will it just run the speed of the slower one or will it not work all together?

so it has to be a 5770 to 5770 or 5870 to 5870, right?

which is better two 5770 in crossfire or 5870? it would still be the 5870 right?

it would be pretty close i would rather have 1 5870 and CF later down the road when they drop in prices
